The workshop of making candles of natural vax. The necessary materials – vax sheet and rope should be prepared or bought before. The size of candle can be various and it depends of the size of vax sheet.
Interesting workshop where the main material of artwork is sand. Sand is coloured withgouache paints. The glue is used to fix sand to a piece of paper.
This activity encourages students to explore materials and express thoughts through collage, using pieces of paper. It is also an artistic way to connect to music.
On January 7th 2014, a workshop took place for regional teachers at the 5th Primary school of Florina. The School Advisors of the 2nd and the 3rd educational region of Florina were the main speakers of a workshop entitled “Visual arts cross-curricular programs”.
The students of the 5th Primary School turned to Picasso for inspiration with his artwork, entitled “The child and the Dove”. The result was an artwork, made by computers trash. Computer part art is sparking student’s creativity and keeping them entertained.
A boat made from 100% trash set sail from 5th Primary School of Florina in Sakoulevas River. It was made with recycled plastic bottles keeping it afloat. The boat dubbed "Boukalou".
People throw trash all the time. So, we started a simple project that provided a possibility for positive change at the yard of the 5th Primary School.
After looking at Edvard Munch's painting, The Scream, the students of the 6th grade (5th Primary School) created their own artwork, using coloured straws instead of colours.
On february 4, Dobeles Regional research museum was having creative workshop event for students on the theme "Natural materials in art". By using egg's albumem a glue was made, with it's help on paper M.Stārastes snowmen got to white look.
The workshop “Terminology and techniques” was carried out by specialists. The teachers and the students of the 5th Primary School of Florina had the opportunity to become familiar with special art terms, concerning techniques, colours and basic principles in art.
